Brainspotting is effective for a wide variety of emotional and somatic conditions. Brainspotting is particularly effective with trauma-based situations, helping to identify and heal underlying trauma that contributes to anxiety, depression and other behavioral conditions. It can also be used with performance and creativity enhancement. Brainspotting gives the therapist access to both brain and body processes. Its goal is to bypass the conscious, neocortical thinking to access the deeper, subcortical emotional and body-based parts of the brain. (www.brainspotting.com)

I warmly welcome clients of all ages offering the convenience and comfort of therapy from your own home. My goal is to create a virtual space where you feel heard, safe, and truly understood. Together, we will identify and address the obstacles holding you back—whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, or unexpected panic attacks—and work toward building resilience and overall wellness.
My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and tailored to your unique needs. I focus on empowering you with practical tools and strategies to effectively manage your mental health. I may incorporate techniques from Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Strength-Based Therapy. I am supervised by Holly Israel, LIMHP.
I accept private pay, select commercial BCBS plans, and Nebraska Medicaid plans (Molina, Nebraska Total Care, and United Behavioral Health). I offer Telehealth (online) sessions only.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a unique approach to psychotherapy. ART is unique because the ART Therapist guides the client to replace the negative images in the mind that cause the symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress with positive images of the client’s choosing. And this is done quickly, most often within one session! Once the negative images have been replaced by positive ones, the triggers will be gone. Nightmares and repeated intrusive thoughts will stop. These sessions can be booked with Kim, Shannon, and Angela.

Therapy dogs are important beyond their wonderful companionship and adorableness. They also provide comfort and support to hospital patients, students, seniors, and anyone else who is going through a difficult time. The bond therapy dogs and humans share is incredible, as these animals have a unique ability to connect with people on an emotional level.
These sessions can be booked with Holly and Swish only.
